What is WOW! That’s Engineering all about?

In order to encourage young women across the country to become involved with engineering and technology, the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) launched a program called, WOW! That’s Engineering! For a second year, the Eastern Nebraska Section of SWE is hosting this outreach program in the Omaha area. The demand for engineering and technology professionals is growing three times faster than any other occupation, yet the enrollment in colleges of engineering is declining – particularly among females! – We need to encourage young women to consider the possibilities a career in engineering and technology has to offer. This program offers four sessions that give a glimpse into the world of engineering.
